Local Benefit Services

  • Child Care program helps eligible parents who are working or in school pay for childcare. The program supports workforce participation by parents and provides early care and education experiences for children.

  • The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally funded program that provides eligible Ohioans assistance with their home energy bills.

  • Medicaid provides health coverage to millions of Americans, including eligible low-income adults, children, pregnant women, elderly adults and people with disabilities.

  • Medicare is an insurance program for people age 65 and over (and certain disabled individuals under age 65). If you are eligible for Social Security benefits (including disability benefits), you may apply for Medicare.

  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), formerly called food stamps, is a government program that helps people buy the food they need for healthy lives.

  • Social Security Income program gives cash benefits to people with disabilities or be 65 years or older, who have limited income and resources.

    You can also apply by printing out a WIC Program Application (Solicitud del Programa de WIC) and mailing it to the WIC clinic in your area. Please note that you must schedule an appointment at the clinic, too.
